Welcome to

1:1 Business Mentoring

Get the support you need without signing up to eye-wateringly expensive packages.

Have you been looking for support with your business but been put off by signing up to long-term expensive packages?

Do you feel that coaching isn’t quite right for you, and that instead you’d like to have the firm guidance of someone whose been there and done that so you don’t have to?

Do you wish you could have access to one-off sessions where you can just thrash out one or two topics that are important to you right now rather than committing to a long term programme?

Then welcome to 1:1 Business Mentoring!

Drop-in mentoring sessions that you can use to unpick ANYTHING business related.

No need to sign up to prohibitively expensive packages.

No need to commit to a long term agreement.

Just book in when you feel you need support.

It’s simple:  click the button below and book your slot.

Answer a few questions and make your payment and we’ll meet on the time and date you’ve chosen.

No faff.

Just honest and clear support from someone whose been there and done that (many times over!)

Cost is £85 per one hour session.

Things I can help with:

Business basics - website, email lists, payment systems etc. Have you got everything in place to ensure the smooth running of your business? (hint: it’s not actually as complicated as many business coaches would have you think!)

Social media support - I’m going to be straight with you, I definitely don’t have all the answers when it comes to social media…BUT I know how to write a decent post and I have a loyal following who invest in my offers and keep my business running.

Understanding your numbers - because clarity is EVERYTHING! Do you know the difference between profit and revenue? (I definitely didn’t!)

Interpreting test results - just starting to offer testing in your practice? Bring your results to the call and I’ll help you interpret them. My favourite tests include DUTCH testing, gut testing and organic acids testing. In fact, I’m such a testing geek that I’ve put together entire training courses on these for the prestigious nutrition training college ION.

Mindset stuff - is your perfectionism paralysing you into getting nothing done? Been there, done that!  As a recovering perfectionist I know all too well how we can spend years mulling things over and not taking any action. (And don’t get me started on Imposter Syndrome!!)

And... pretty much anything that feels relevant to you and your business. Setting up and running your own business can bring up all sorts of things and the aim of these drop-in sessions is to create a welcoming and non-judgemental space where you can literally bring anything you want to the table.

Who is 1:1 Business Mentoring for?

Basically for anyone working in the field of menstrual and hormone health who wants support.

Like for example:

Nutritional Therapists

Nutritionists

Health Coaches

Menstrual Cycle Coaches

Yoga teachers

Bodyworkers

Acupuncturists

Any other therapist…

(If you like the sound of what I’m saying, it's for you!)

So, what qualifies me to be a business mentor?

Great question (and one that definitely needs answering!)

I’ve actually been mentoring for quite a few years now but for some reason I’ve never officially talked about it (probably some sort of  imposter syndrome stuff going on here!)

It’s been reflected back to me many times that I make a great mentor - I’m kind, compassionate and love to infuse humour into my approach. I also get a real buzz from helping others through my lived experience.

I’ve also been doing this self-employed malarkey for over ten years which means I’ve made a shit tonne of mistakes and learnt a hell of a lot along the way.

All of this makes me a great mentor.

  • Do I have all the answers?

    Definitely not.

  • Do I run a wildly successful seven figure business?

    Nope.

(But I do make enough to live off it comfortably and that, in my eyes, is success enough).

  • If I mentor you will your business be wildly successful?

    I have no idea.

What I do know is that you’ll have someone to hold your hand on the wild journey that is being a business owner.

Someone who has made a million mistakes that you can learn from.

Someone who can show you the short cuts and little tricks of the trade.

Someone who can help you see the wood for the trees when you feel you’re just going round in circles.

What’s the difference between mentoring and coaching?

Nowadays it feels like everyone’s a coach.

Coaching has definitely been one of the buzzwords of recent years. I’ll be honest with you, I’ve had enough of overpriced coaching experiences that make you feel like you’re the problem. Or ones that bully you into spending horrific amounts of money that you can’t really afford.

(Don’t get me wrong, there are loads of great coaches out there doing incredible work, but I’m kind of over the coaching industry…for now at least!)

Coaching (when done well), works on the premise that the client holds all the answers to their challenges and the coach’s role is to help them access this innate wisdom. A coach acts as a facilitator for the client’s self-actualisation.

Mentoring on the other hand, is a unique combination of guidance, teaching and advice-giving. Mentors usually have a wealth of lived experience that they use to support their mentees with.  (Basically a good mentor will have been there and done that so that you don’t have to). They also have a deep understanding of what you’re going through because they’ve been there themselves and they can offer unique insights and perspectives that you wouldn’t get from someone who hadn't been deep in the trenches.

Personally, mentoring feels warmer, softer and more genuine.

I also like the sense of leadership that mentoring brings - as someone in her late 40s I’m ready to start stepping into my role as a wise elder.

I’m ready to use my experience and life lessons to help others.

I’m ready to hold your hand.

I’m ready to guide you.

Are you coming?

A bit more about me:

I graduated with a first class honours degree  in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster in 2012 and spent the first few years floundering about not really knowing what I was doing.

I was paralysed by perfectionism and the world of academia had left me totally unprepared for how to set up and run a business (our four year degree had included one two-hour lecture on how to set up a business FFS!)

I invested in a number of high ticket coaching programmes that yielded zero results and made me feel even worse about myself. (With hindsight I can see that they totally took advantage of my vulnerability and desperation to run a successful business).

There wasn’t a single moment when things changed for me;  growth was slow and the struggles and challenges I faced felt very overwhelming (and frustrating!)

I slowly learnt that no massive launch was going to propel me into the six figure success I had been so focused on…

…And that I was going to have to figure this out for myself.

I slowly overcame my fear of social media and built a little community of followers who appreciated my work and who trusted me to support them with their hormone health.

I grew my email list and opened my heart to my subscribers on a weekly basis.

I also realised that jealousy and comparison were never going to help me thrive and so I set about undoing  all the Type A good girl conditioning I had received through my school and academic years and I created community,  I connected and I collaborated.

And things slowly became easier - I had more and more clients wanting to work with me, more opportunities to appear on podcasts, more people reaching out to ask for my expert opinion. I no longer felt like a fraud.

Today I’m the co-host of The FemmePowered podcast and I have a pretty busy diary filled with one to one clients. I also get paid to deliver workshops and events for lots of interesting organisations, including prestigious nutrition colleges like The Institute for Optimum Nutrition. I’ve also had loads of fun presenting at festivals and running a number of retreats in Ibiza (none of which are for the faint-hearted by the way!)

Full disclosure: this doesn’t mean I have all my shit together -  I still have wobbles and there are still days when I want to pack it all in! BUT I’m much better at navigating the wobbles and I have an excellent toolkit to draw on when these times hit.

Which is precisely what makes me a good mentor.

It’s time to shake up the way we do things.

Other questions you might be asking yourself:

  • Honestly, these session are perfect for you. We’ll sit down and identify areas you should be prioritising and put together an easy to follow plan to help you implement what we discuss during our call.

  • Again, these session are perfect for you. I spent many years floundering my way through test result interpretation so you don’t have to.

I’m particular experienced in DUTCH hormone testing, stool testing, organic acids testing and good old regular blood panels.

Honestly, I wish I’d had someone to reach out to all these years ago - it would have saved me a LOT of time (and tears!

(Please note - I require a minimum of 14 days to review test results so book your slot accordingly).

  • Simple, you book another session.

We’ll always try and make the best use of our time in a session but there will be times when you might have to book in another one.

(The beauty is that you book in for when suits YOU and your timeline).

  • All good - I’m not a dragon who’ll force you to pay for a session you can’t make.

As long as you give me 24 hours notice we can move your call to another day.

And if for some reason you can’t make the call at all you’ll be refunded (provided you give me 23 hours notice).

  • Maybe.

But as someone who has done the long term programmes (and paid a LOT of money for them !) what I also know is that keeping things financially viable takes a massive load off your stress.

There’s something fun and light about drop in mentoring sessions that long term programmes can sometimes lack.

    So, are you in??

What people have to say about my mentoring sessions:

  • Gillian Kolkman, Gillian Kolkman Nutrition.

Having Giulietta as my mentor for the past two years has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. She has this fantastic way of gently pushing me beyond my comfort zone, something I knew I needed but couldn’t quite manage on my own. She’s so supportive and encouraging which makes it a pleasure to work with her and her insights from years of experience are truly invaluable. I’d highly recommend Giulietta to anyone starting out or even well established practitioners, like myself, who want to take their business to the next level.

  • Milena Mastroianni, Root & Leaf Nutrition.

I had a mentoring session with Giulietta to gain a fresh perspective on a complex fibroid case. Despite my own experience managing fibroids and working in the field of nutrition, her insights helped me view the case in a new light. Together, we reviewed the client's case history, blood work, and genetic testing, and developed more targeted recommendations. Thanks to Giulietta's guidance, the client implemented these changes, leading to a significant improvement in symptoms, iron levels, and energy—after years of struggling with low levels. Her support was invaluable and I’d be happy to go back to Giulietta’s mentoring anytime in the future.
